Privacy Policy
How AI Herald handles data. Short version: we collect as little as possible and use no tracking cookies.
Last updated 17 September 2026
Short version: we do not ask you to create an account, we do not use tracking cookies, and we do not sell data. Everything below explains the details.
What we collect
- Nothing you type. There is no login, no comment box and no account on AI Herald.
- Basic visit statistics. We use privacy-focused analytics that count page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. We see which pages are popular and roughly where readers come from, not who you are.
- Standard server logs. Our host records requests, including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention, and deletes them on its own schedule.
- Your email, only if you give it. If you subscribe to a newsletter, your address is stored with our email provider and used to send you AI Herald and nothing else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes you from the list.
Cookies and local storage
We set no tracking or advertising cookies. The site stores one preference in your browser: whether you chose light or dark mode. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Other companies involved
- Our host serves the pages and provides the visit statistics described above.
- Our email provider stores newsletter addresses, if you subscribe.
- Links to other sites. Articles link to the original reporting. Once you follow a link, that website's own privacy policy applies, not ours.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be deleted, or unsubscribe at any time. Write to hello@aiherald.tech. Because we collect so little, most requests are answered in a sentence.
Children
AI Herald is a general news site and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If advertising is ever introduced, this page will be updated before it appears.
